iPads at St. Michael's NS!!!
At. St. Michael's we are conscious of the huge role that technology is playing in today's educational arena. We are keen to engage with current technology to help us achieve our aims of presenting an interesting, engaging curriculum to our children. To this end, a huge thank you is due to the Scoil Mhichil Parents Association, who, after lots of fundraising, paid for 8 shiny new iPads. This week, all of the children were delighted to try out fun, educational apps. They were especially useful for Maths Week and everyone really enjoyed using them. We would like to thank Albert Berry Motors Ltd for their generous sponsorship of two of our new iPads. We look forward to using the iPads in the classrooms as a fun, interactive resource for independent/ collaborative learning.
